Contacting Us.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, you can contact us by writing to us at or by mail at 12 Firs Avenue, Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, OL6 8PL.

Quote validity – Our quotations are only valid for 28 days from the date of estimate, unless stated otherwise.
This is due to our suppliers increasing the price of materials from time to time as well as any promotional prices offered returning to their regular cost.

Unforeseen work – Every effort has been made to provide you with a quotation that is as accurate as possible however there are occasionally unforeseen problems that will need to be addressed before we can proceed. These normally come in the form of poor wall condition found underneath wallpaper that is being removed as part of your job / painting on top of lining paper or previously badly prepared woodwork. Should any of this damage or complications arise, we will discuss all options and additional costs with you before proceeding. If necessary we can recommend other trades such as plasterers to you on a no obligation basis.
Where we think things such as a wood beading will be better to be fitted so it can stop cracking we will advise you.

Any work that has changed from the original estmate such as, new woodwork, new plaster or things like alterations will be chargable, but we will discuss this.

Paint supplies – we tend to use our preferred choice of branded paints for certain work to be carried out to obtain the best results.
We always use high quality paints that are trade quality, this also goes for all other materials.
If you opt to source your own products additional labour charges may be incurred for applying extra coats to achieve satisfactory coverage. Similarly, if you instruct us to purchase an alternative brand of paint the costs will be adjusted accordingly.

Payment schedule – Payment will be requested promptly upon completion of your work. You must make every effort to settle your bill within 24 hours or sooner of job completion.
We accept cash and bank transfer payments only.

Deposits/Interim payments – We don’t normally ask for deposits however for larger jobs (of 2 plus week duration or exceeding £200 in materials) a deposit or weekly interim payments may be required.
For example we may ask for weekly payments to be made at the end of the week but invoices will be given.
You will be informed in advance if this is to be the case and any deposits and/or interim payments will be deducted from your final invoice accordingly. Any interim payments requested will never exceed the value of materials or work carried out up to that date.

Damaged work – If our work is part of an overall larger project involving multiple trades, we will not be held responsible for any damage caused as a result of their actions. Should any damage of this nature occur we will happily provide a no obligation quotation to repair or touch up the damage, it will be your responsibility to pursue the person who damaged it for recompense.

Site preparation – Prior to our arrival on your agreed date all working areas must be cleared allowing us to carry out our work unhampered. Smaller items and breakables should be boxed and removed completely. Where possible, please remove smaller furniture to another room also. Let us know of any larger items that cannot be removed and we will either make arrangements to have them removed or cover them up to the best of our ability along with your existing floor covering and immovable objects such as kitchen units or built in wardrobes.

Radiator removal – In most cases painting around radiators can be done easily however we like to remove radiators when papering is involved to give a better finish and a long lasting job.
We can remove remove them for a better standard of finish, we are fully insured to do this incase anything went wrong.
We can do this for no charge to you however if a leak occurred due to removal the customer will have to sort this with a qualified plumber.
We can source a plumber if you want us to at an extra charge from them.
Or alternatively, you can arrange your own plumber prior to our arrival.

Start dates – We normally agree a proposed start date upon acceptance of our quote however from time to time there may be circumstances outside of our control (such as the weather or delays by other trades) that prevent us from getting to you by the agreed date. In the event of this being the case, we will contact you immediately to make you aware and to agree a change to the date.

Movement/Settlement Cracks - All new work such as new plaster, new woodwork, new windows & doors etc... can cause cracks or nail pop this is due to the materials shrinking or moving due to being in your home.
This is something we can't cover due to no fault of our own but may happen. We can fix these at a later date with a free estimate.
We understand this can be annoying but its part of any new work.
Damp on any wall is also not covered, with us being in the trade for a very long time we know what can happen when damp makes an appearance, we can help fix the problem or pass you onto someone who can fix the issue.

Paint yellowing on oilbased paints is something we can not cover, this is due to these type of paints needing UV rays / sunlight to remain white. In a room with natural light the oil based gloss will stay whiter for longer but in rooms with little natural light or covered by sofas etc.. it may go yellow faster.

Rubbish removal - We know as a company some rubbish may  occure on jobs.

We bag up any rubbish we have like wallpaper removal, floor protection & any other materials. We as a company can't take rubbish as we get a charged by the recycling center to despose of it. Therfor we ask customers to despose of project rubbish.
